<p>To begin with, you will have to create an interesting presentation that compels your audience to act. You will want to educate your viewers, but in the end, you want them to buy your product or services.</p>
<p>You have to walk the fine line of giving really great content as well as asking them to DO SOMETHING at the end of your webinar. That can be visiting your website, picking up the phone or driving over for a visit.</p>
<p>Next, you will want to find a good webinar hosting company that can support the size of webinar your want. You have lots of options: GoToWebinar, WebEx, Adobe Connect, and a few others. You can even hire someone to run your webinar for you.</p>

Make sure you choose a course that has lots of step by step video so you don&#8217;t get lost. Then turn the course over to your techie person, employee, secretary or teenage kid and have them learn how to setup your webinar!</p>

<p>And that&#8217;s why you want them &#8220;live.&#8221; A webinar is a live event and you control when they see it and what rewards they get for taking action. That is how a webinar differs from a video they can watch any time they want. Even a webinar replay is released with the understanding that a deadline is looming right around the corner.</p>
<p>Finally, you will want to follow-up with the folks who attended your webinar. Those who take this step almost always gather more sales, and it can be easy to do. When your customers register for your webinar, ask them for FULL CONTACT information. This way you can follow-up with a piece of direct mail, personal email, or a personal phone call.</p>
<p>The beauty of running a webinar is that it leaves you with folks who are &#8220;qualified.&#8221; If they have signed on for your webinar, spent 30 or 60 minutes listening, and spent time with you in follow-up, they will very likely buy your product or service.</p>

<p>- EDUCATION (This is when you can give them some of your best tips and tricks for their business.)</p>

<p>- CALL TO ACTION (what do you want them to do? Visit your web site and buy your product or service? Call your office for an appointment? Sign up for a paid webinar class?)</p>
<p>Another webinar tool is a powerpoint template for your webinar ppt. Creating a webinar ppt is easy if you include these items:</p>
<p>-background graphic &#8211; Create or have someone else create an appealing, memorable graphic that communicates the message of your webinar. Use it as the background graphic on your master slide.</p>
<p>- your picture &#8211; Again on the master slide, insert your picture in the top left corner so that people can identify with you as a person. It also helps the audience to link a face with your voice.</p>
<p>- bullet points that show when you mouse click &#8211; Use the &#8220;custom animations&#8221; feature in Powerpoint and make each line appear upon mouse click in the master slide.</p>

<p>-an autoresponder &#8211; Even after your viewers register, you will want to remind them of the coming webinar. Afterwards, you will definitely want to follow up with each one who attended.</p>

<p>Despite the pros of webinars, there are a few reasons that some folks shy away from planning and conducting webinars. They close the door to making money online because of the following:</p>
<p>1) Planning and running webinars is just too expensive. Anything that is intended to generate money in the future will require an initial investment and time to learn about the processes involved, but over time the costs will be more than covered. Unless we have less than 50 people on a webinar, we have always made $3000-$5000 whenever we plan and host one. Once you have made the initial investment and taken the necessary steps, you will be able to see your profits increase.</p>
<p>2) Only big-ticket items will be worth the effort when planning webinars. This is not true. It is possible to make a good amount on money by selling small ticket items such as e-books that cost $29. These are excellent for those that have very little start-up capital. My wife Kerry planned a webinar with her &#8220;Raising Leaders, Not Followers&#8221; ebook, which only costs $37, and she was able to make $16,000 on that webinar alone. Therefore, it is not workshops nor expensive courses that will generate high returns.</p>
<p>3) It requires a great degree of technical knowledge. I will not deny that planning and running your webinars requires some level of technical consciousness. However, there is nothing out of the ordinary that you cannot learn. There is a high-demand course that I have available that offers step-by-step instructions about planning webinars. However, if you do not want to learn the content yourself, you can ask someone else to do that part for you. You are free to concentrate on preparing the presentation.</p>
<p>These are all the reasons why people deny themselves the high returns that are possible from hosting webinars. If, however, you are ready to give them a try, then it is time to get started. You will be in awe of the results.</p>
